A lot of times people try to pigeon-hole Detroit Hip Hop’s sound. The fact is Detroit Hip Hop has always been very diverse. Detroit produces artists that are likely to perform at Water World Weekend as well as artists that are more likely to perform at a hair show.
The Insane Clown Posse are likely to perform at neither. Considered by many to be on the fringes of hip hop, I.C.P. continue to build on their solid fan base with new material.
Overshadowed by Dilla’s release, yesterday I.C.P. also released their latest effort, The Tempest (Psychopathic Records).
