Recent news on Eminem and D12

Slim has been recruited by T.I. for his new album:

“I’m anticipating going in with Eminem,” the King of the South revealed. “Eminem, we got a real hot concept that we spoke about over the phone. It’s gonna be on some real creative sh–. JT, Justin Timberlake, we’re just waiting on the proper song to get him on my album as well.”

An Eminem solo album is expected to be released this November. So far only the internet and the tabloids have reported this so until you hear from official Shady sources, it is what it is.

Various sources report a D12 album either in April (unlikely) or in June. With the guest appearances scheduled for this album it would seem that Interscope is calling the shots on this project. Natural Born Killers doesn’t seem like a fitting tribute to Proof either. So much for creative control.

Proof’s Time a Tell feature, documenting his 18 track in 24 hours recording session is tentatively scheduled for a screeing April 12th at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (Detroit, MI).

Swifty McVay turned 32 on Saturday.
