Seeing that the new issue of The Source has “Mixtapes Under Fire” as a cover headline, could that be the reason for DJ Whoo Kid cancelling recent mixtapes with both Royce Da 5′9″ and Obie Trice?
Earlier rumors spread that the cancelled Royce tape was because of some interference from the Shady/G-Unit camp. But with Obie Trice’s tape also being cancelled it’s a lot more likely that DJ’s are being more cautious with mixtape releases with the heat being brought on the likes of DJ Drama and DJ Cannon.
